About VitalForge

VitalForge is a fitness and workout application for planning routines, recording exercise sessions, reviewing progress and using community features. These Terms of Use apply to the VitalForge website, iPhone application and Apple Watch companion. By using VitalForge, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Eligibility and user accounts

You must be at least 16 years old and meet any higher minimum age required by the law where you live. If you cannot enter a binding agreement yourself, a parent or guardian must approve your use. VitalForge is not intended for children under 16.

Use accurate account information and protect access to your account and devices. You are responsible for activity you authorise through your account. Do not impersonate another person or share access in a way that compromises another person’s information.

VitalForge supports sign in with Apple, Google and ChatGPT when available. Your authentication provider has its own terms. VitalForge does not receive your Apple, Google or ChatGPT password.

Acceptable use

Use VitalForge lawfully and respectfully. Do not harass others, post unlawful or harmful material, upload content without permission, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with the service or bypass security and usage limits. Do not use the service to mislead others about your identity or fitness results.

Review the sharing settings for your workouts and sessions. Community features can make your profile and shared activity visible to other users. Do not upload personal information about someone else without a lawful reason and appropriate permission.

Workout information and AI recommendations

Workout plans, exercise descriptions, progress summaries and AI generated recommendations are general fitness information. They may contain errors, omit relevant information or be unsuitable for your circumstances. AI features are available only when configured and may have usage limits.

Review any recommendation before using it. AI does not know your complete medical history, physical condition or surroundings. It cannot replace a qualified professional, diagnose an injury or guarantee that an exercise is safe. VitalForge does not guarantee a particular fitness outcome.

No medical advice and exercise responsibility

VitalForge is not a medical service and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Consult a qualified healthcare professional about health concerns and before beginning a programme when appropriate. Do not delay medical care because of information in the app.

Exercise carries a risk of injury. Choose movements, weights and intensity suitable for your ability. Check your equipment and surroundings, use appropriate technique and stop if you experience pain, dizziness or other concerning symptoms. Seek urgent help for a medical emergency.

Apple Health and Apple Watch readings may be missing, delayed or inaccurate. They are not a substitute for medical equipment or professional assessment. You remain responsible for exercising safely.

Subscriptions and paid features

The implementation covered by these terms does not currently include a VitalForge subscription checkout or paid feature billing system. If paid features are introduced, the price, billing period, renewal terms and included features will be shown before purchase. You will not be charged merely for reading these terms.

Where purchases are made through the Apple App Store, Apple processes the payment under its applicable purchase terms. VitalForge does not receive your full payment card details through an App Store purchase. Any future automatically renewing subscription will be described before you subscribe.

Cancellation and refunds

If an Apple subscription is offered and purchased, manage or cancel it through your Apple account subscription settings. Deleting VitalForge or your VitalForge account does not itself cancel an Apple subscription.

Refund requests for Apple purchases are handled through Apple’s refund process, subject to eligibility and applicable law. Any future purchases made through another channel will have cancellation and refund information at checkout. Nothing in these terms removes mandatory consumer rights.

Intellectual property and your content

VitalForge branding, software and original interface content are protected by intellectual property laws. You receive permission to use the service for its intended purpose, not ownership of its software or branding. Rights belonging to Apple, OpenAI and other parties remain theirs.

You retain your rights in content you submit. You grant VitalForge the permission reasonably necessary to store, process and display that content to provide the features you use, including displaying content you share with other users. Only upload material you have the right to use. Other users may retain copies of content you have shared.

Suspension and termination

Access may be restricted or ended where reasonably necessary to address misuse, security risks, legal obligations or serious breaches of these terms. Where practicable and lawful, we will explain the reason and give an opportunity to resolve the issue.

You may stop using VitalForge at any time. Suspension or termination does not remove rights or obligations that should continue by their nature, including applicable payment obligations and intellectual property rights.

Account deletion

Signing out or uninstalling the app does not delete information stored by VitalForge. Some records and photos can be removed through their existing controls. You can delete your account from Settings → Account → Delete account, with two confirmations.

For assistance with account deletion, contact support@vitalforge.app. Deleting a VitalForge account will not delete your Apple or ChatGPT account or cancel a subscription managed by Apple. The Privacy Policy explains retention and copies that may remain outside VitalForge’s control.

Changes to the service

Features may be added, changed or discontinued. Availability can depend on your device, operating system, network connection, provider availability and permissions. Offline access depends on content already saved on the device. Keep a separate copy of information important to you.

Material changes affecting a paid service will be explained with any notice, cancellation or refund rights required by law.

Disclaimer of warranties

To the extent permitted by law, VitalForge is provided as available, without a promise that it will always be uninterrupted, error free or suitable for every purpose. Workout recommendations, measurements and progress estimates are not guaranteed to be accurate or complete.

This disclaimer does not exclude warranties, guarantees or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, VitalForge is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profits or losses resulting from misuse of the service. You should take reasonable steps to protect your information and avoid unnecessary losses.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, deliberate misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law. Your mandatory consumer rights remain unchanged.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes to the service or applicable requirements. The Last Updated date shows the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated through the service or another appropriate method. Where consent is required, we will request it.
